GCMHP participated in the interactive mental health and psychosocial support exhibition, organized by the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Technical Group in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Medical Corps (IMC). The exhibition, held under the slogan "Stronger Together Towards an Integrated Humanitarian Response," saw wide participation from representatives of humanitarian organizations and sectors operating in the Gaza Strip.

The exhibition was organized as part of efforts to promote the integration of mental health and psychosocial support into various humanitarian interventions. It also aimed to highlight the importance of integration and coordination among different sectors to ensure a more comprehensive and effective response to the needs of the affected population, enhance access to services, improve referral pathways, and foster cooperation among service providers.

In her opening remarks at the exhibition, Dr. Rawya Hammam, Director of the Training and Research Department at GCMHP and Co-Chair of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Technical Cluster, emphasized that mental health is a fundamental pillar of humanitarian work. She stressed that meeting the psychological and social needs of individuals requires the concerted efforts of all humanitarian sectors to ensure a comprehensive response that respects human dignity and enhances resilience and adaptability.

During the exhibition, GCMHP’s team presented a range of interactive activities and demonstrations that introduced participants to its specialized services and interventions in the field of mental health and psychosocial support. They also highlighted several initiatives and programs implemented to support individuals, families, and local communities in facing escalating psychological and social challenges.

GCMHP also distributed awareness and guidance materials aimed at promoting the importance of mental health, informing participants about available services and how to access them, and contributing to increased access to psychosocial support services. This aims to strengthen individuals' ability to cope, recover, and remain resilient in the current humanitarian situation.
