efforts done to support the psychological wellbeing of the population.

Ilga, Deputy Head of Development Cooperation at the German Representative
Office, had a meeting with Dr Yasser Abu Jamei, Director General; Mr Qusai Abu
Odei, Director of External Relations and Fun Raising Department; Ms Aisha Al-Basyouni, Head of Projects Unit;
and Mr Hassan Al-Shaer, Project Manager. The meeting was also attended by Ms
Nour Ashour, GIZ Technical Officer.
Abu Jamei started the meeting with briefing the delegation on GCMHP’s plans and
actions of interventions to deal with the psychosocial challenges stemming from
the successive crises, explaining the professional challenges that mental
health workers face due to the ever increasing demand on their services.

how the cooperation between the two organisations had significantly contributed
to the work done to support the mental health state of the Gazans, presenting
