GCMHP welcomed a group of clinical psychology students from Al-Aqsa University for an exploratory visit aimed at introducing them to the program and its specialized services in mental health and psychosocial support. The visit took place at GCMHP’s centers in Gaza and Deir al-Balah.
The visit included a presentation on the program's mission, objectives, and the services it provides to various beneficiaries. Students also learned about the work of the professional teams and the mechanisms for delivering mental health services in the community.
The students had the opportunity to engage in dialogue with the staff, asking questions about professional practice and the challenges faced by those working in the field. This interaction helped enhance their knowledge and bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application.
This visit is part of an ongoing effort to strengthen cooperation with academic institutions and provide students with opportunities to learn from professional experiences, thereby contributing to the development of qualified professionals capable of improving mental health services in the community.
