GCMHP Welcomed a group of clinical psychology students from Al Aqsa University

GCMHP welcomed a group of clinical psychology students from Al-Aqsa University. The visit, hold at Khan Younis Community Center, aimed to introduce the students to GCMHP's specialized mental health and psychosocial support services.

The students were introduced to the therapeutic and medical psychological services provided, the role of the psychologist and other team members, and how to conduct clinical interviews. They also learned about the diagnostic and treatment frameworks and referral pathways according to the GCMHP’s protocol.

The students had the opportunity to engage in dialogue with the specialists and ask questions about professional practice, enhancing their knowledge and bridging the gap between academic theory and practical application.

This visit is part of GCMHP's ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation with academic institutions and provide students with opportunities to learn from professional experiences, thereby contributing to the development of qualified professionals capable of improving mental health services in the community.
