As part of the "Learning through Play and Recreation" initiative, GCMHP conducted an interactive session titled "Self-Confidence and Peer Support." The session involved 37 adolescents aged 14–18 as apart of the project "Improving the Availability of Youth and their Caregivers to Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Quality Services in Gaza Strip." in partnership with the Belgian Agency for International Cooperation - Enabel, and funded by the Belgian Government.
Through games, challenges, and group activities, the adolescents engaged in an enthusiastic and interactive experience, learning the importance of self-confidence, communication, cooperation, peer support, and teamwork.
The session concluded with an open discussion where the participants shared their experiences and highlighted the key skills and insights they had gained during the activities.
