GCMHP conducted a training course "The Most Common Mental Disorders Among Children and Adults - Detection and Referral". The training was part of the project "Providing integrated Protection to Support Children and Adults in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank", implemented in partnership with War Child Holland and supported by the European Union.
The training targeted 40 professionals from GCMHP and partner institutions, aiming to strengthen their capacity to identify mental disorders and apply appropriate referral mechanisms in line with GCMHP standards.
The training programme consisted of three courses, each spanning three days (15 training hours), with 20 participants per course. The sessions were delivered by a team of experienced psychologists from GCMHP who bring extensive expertise in the field.
This training from part of GCMHP's ongoing efforts to enhance the competencies of professionals working in the mental health and psychosocial support sectors, enabling them to provide services that adhere to advanced professional standards. At the conclusion of the training, participants will receive training materials and certificates.
