Gaza Community Mental Health Programme Conducted Training on "The Most Common mental Disorders Among Children and Adults"

GCMHP conducted a two-day training on "The Most Common Mental Disorders Among Children and Adults - Detection and Referral" on Sunday, 31 August 2025, totaling 8 training hours. The sessions were delivered by specialized professionals from GCMHP and attended by 26 registered specialists from the Gaza Syndicate of Psychologists - Deir Al-Balah branch.

The training aimed to familiarize participants with:

* The most common mental disorders among children.

* The most common mental disorders among adults.

* GCMHP referral standards and procedures.

Participants actively engaged with the trainers through interactive discussions and expressed interest in attending more related coursed offered b the programme. They also conveyed their deep appreciation to GCMHP for organizing the training and emphasized their desire to continue collaborative efforts between the programme and the Syndicate.
