GCMHP Conducted Training on "The Most Common Mental Disorders - Detection and Referral"

GCMHP organized a two-day training on "The Most Common Mental Disorders - Detection and Referral" in collaboration with Aisha Association for the Protection of Women and Children. The training took place on Tuesday and Wednesday, 2-3 September 2025, in Gaza City, with a total of 19 participants from various professional backgrounds. Specialized professionals from GCMHP delivered the training, which totaled 8 hours.

The training, which was followed by two additional follow-up sessions totaling 4 hours, aimed to:

* Identify the most common mental disorders among children.

* Identify the most common mental disorders among adults.

* Understand GCMHP's referral standards and procedures.

Participants actively engaged with the trainers through interactive discussions and expressed their interest in further collaboration and additional training sessions with the programme.
